We believe that every good community of people must abide by a set of common sense rules. The following rules will be enforced by the linkshell officers.

1. First and foremost; don't be a jerkface to your fellow players (linkshell mates or otherwise, we have a reputation as a linkshell to uphold). Everyone must realize that we play this game to have fun and hanging out with a bunch of jerks is not conducive to fun. Being a jerkface can include but is not limited to: making derogatory or unwelcome comments about others, spamming the chat log with nonsense, loot-whoring, only coming into the linkshell to ask for help, consistently violating linkshell rules and taking advantage of other players.

2. If you have a concern about another member of the linkshell please try to work it out in /tell. We will not tolerate arguments in /linkshell. If you are unable to work the issue out amongst yourselves please get an officer involved. If you are having an issue with an officer please let Vayle Akashi know.

3. Last Chance is primarily a social linkshell that does events occasionally. Since we are a primarily social shell we would like to see our members in the linkshell frequently to keep the chatter alive. You are totally allowed to have more than one linkshell but please spend some time in Last Chance.

4. Last Chance is by no means a hardcore linkshell. We all have real life commitments and everyone understands that sometimes things come up. However, we are playing with real people and not NPC's which means that some manners are needed. If you agree to participate in an event please do so. If you are unable to participate please let someone know (via /l, the forums or an email) so that we are not waiting all night for you to arrive. Also, when you are participating in an event, if you need to AFK please say something. There is nothing worse than relying on someone and having them AFK in the middle of battle without saying anything.

5. Since this shell is intended for more mature members some inappropriateness is expected and welcomed. However, taking this to an extreme is not allowed. Innuendo's, mild cursing and the like will be allowed. Sexual harassment, cursing enough to make a truck driver blush and being totally rude will not be tolerated.

We recently repearled Last Chance to clear out some of the folks that are not playing anymore. With the repearl we are changing the way that we handle recruitment and new members. In order to maintain a close knit social shell full of like-minded folks the following recruitment guidelines are in place.

6. If a member of the linkshell has a friend that they think would fit the overall vibe of the linkshell they need to speak with a mega-boss first (Vayle Akashi, Jiradovia Noveno, Antanias Lebanon). One of these people will then speak with the prospective member to ensure that they feel this person will fit in with Last Chance. If they feel this person will fit in they will give them a pearl and instruct them to register on the website and post an introduction. The new member will be placed on a trial status for a period of one month where they can get to know the current members of the linkshell and make sure that it is a good fit for them. If during the trial status the new member has blatent disregard for the rules of the LS or consistently offends the other members they will be asked to leave.

The officer will also instruct the new member to register on the website and post an introduction.
